Episode Summary
The chase ends where the founders' ended: the Valley of the End, statues of Hashirama and Madara facing off above a waterfall. Naruto catches Sasuke at last, and the conversation fails — every word about bonds and home answered with the cold logic of a boy who has decided that severing ties is the price of power. Sasuke's flat refusal, his contempt for the very friendship that fueled the rescue, lands harder than any jutsu. The cry goes unheard on purpose. Then the headbands come off.
