Episode Summary
The Sound Four make their pitch in the dark, and Sasuke listens. Orochimaru's elite — Sakon, Tayuya, Jirobo and Kidomaru — promise the one thing Konoha withheld: power without patience, on the road to killing Itachi. The episode is the hinge of Part 1, intercutting Sasuke's wordless decision with Sakura waiting at the village gate, sensing what's coming. He leaves a sleeping village a goodbye made of silence. Sakura's last plea — take me with you, or stop — earns a thank-you and a nerve strike.
