Episode Summary
A suspension bridge, a poisoned dart, and the arc's villain in full: Aoi Rokusho, Konoha deserter, brandishing the stolen Sword of the Thunder God — the Second Hokage's lightning blade, the very theft Idate was framed for. The bridge drops, the river takes runner and escort both, and the episode resets the board in a cave: Idate fevered, the race clock bleeding out, and Naruto carrying him back to the route by piggyback through a typhoon, arguing the whole way that finishing matters more than winning.
