Sound vs. Leaf

The chase finds its first wall: Jirobo, the largest of the Sound Four, drops an earth dome over the entire squad and starts draining their chakra through it. Shikamaru's read is grim arithmetic — someone holds the line so four advance — and Choji, the gentle one always picked last, volunteers. He swallows the forbidden first of his clan's three colored pills, body ballooning with butterfly-wing chakra, and stays behind to settle a fight about being underestimated. The squad runs on; one member is already gone from view.
