Kiba and Akamaru fight as one organism and still lose ground: Sakon and Ukon's shared body shrugs off the Inuzuka tag-team by parasitizing it from within, merging with flesh and attacking from inside the wound. The Ultimate Tag Team title is ironic — the boy and dog who move in perfect sync against an enemy who is literally two-in-one. Kiba's answer is sacrifice logic borrowed from his squadmates: wound himself to wound the parasite, bleed to make the enemy bleed, and buy the others their lead.
