Episode Summary
The Hero of the Hidden Leaf completes the Pain arc's climax: Nagato, persuaded by Naruto's refusal to hate, uses his last strength to perform the Samsara of Heavenly Life — resurrecting everyone Pain killed in the assault, giving his own life to undo the destruction. The episode is the arc's transcendent resolution, Konoha's dead restored, Naruto returning to a village that greets him as a hero at last. The boy shunned in episode one is carried home on the shoulders of the people he saved. Pain's story ends in redemption.
