Six tails become eight. Pain, unable to contain the avalanche of Nine-Tails chakra punching through his Shinra Tensei, retreats skyward and deploys the Rinnegan's signature: Chibaku Tensei, ripping the earth upward to bury the beast inside a self-assembling moon. Inside the sphere, at the edge of surrendering the seal entirely, Naruto meets his father.
