Episode Summary
Naruto breaks. Holding Gaara's body, he turns his rage on the one person nearby who shares the Sand's history with the Akatsuki — Chiyo — before collapsing into the grief he's been outrunning since the kidnapping. The episode is the arc's emotional floor: a jinchuriki mourning a jinchuriki, Naruto raging at a world that takes friends for the things sealed inside them. It's also the setup for the arc's miracle — Chiyo, watching the boy weep over her village's lost son, begins to consider a forbidden choice.
