Homecoming

Two and a half years on, a taller Naruto returns to Konoha from training with Jiraiya — and announces himself by dropping a Sexy Jutsu on Kakashi before the reunion handshake. The homecoming doubles as a status report: Sakura is now Tsunade's deadly medical apprentice, the village has grown, and the bell test gets a rematch that proves how far both students have come. The warmth is real but brief — far away, the Akatsuki are already moving on the tailed beasts, and the new series sets its clock ticking.
