Episode Summary
Shikamaru versus Temari becomes the thinking viewer's favorite match. He opens by napping against the wall while the clock runs; she opens by carving the arena with wind to map his shadow's maximum reach. What follows is geometry as combat — shadows stretched through trench lines, a parachute jacket buying inches of dusk, the hole Naruto's fight left in the floor turned into a tunnel for darkness. Temari calculates everything except the rule that a shadow can travel underground. He catches her cold.
