Episode Summary
Lee escalates past human limits: the Eight Inner Gates, explained ringside by a grim Kakashi as self-mutilation marketed as technique. Three gates, then five — muscle fibers tearing audibly, skin reddening, the floor shattering under acceleration — and the Reverse Lotus folds Gaara into the ground with everything Lee's body can pay. The gourd sand catches the final impact. What follows is methodical: Gaara's sand takes Lee's left arm and leg and crushes them like punctuation. Guy's intervention saves a boy who is already standing again — unconscious.
