Episode Summary
The week burns down on two tracks. Naruto trains until his palms split, sleeping where he falls, while Shizune — Dan's niece, Tsunade's keeper — fills in the history the bet sits on: the necklace on two corpses, the blood phobia born in a field hospital, decades of running from a village made of graves. Tsunade visits the sleeping boy, studies his shredded hands and the headband he never removes, and asks the dark her real question: why do they all die smiling for it?
