Episode Summary
Reunion. After years and a hundred episodes, Naruto stands in the same room as Sasuke — high on a ledge in Orochimaru's lair, colder and stronger, looking down at the friends who came for him. The episode is the payoff the entire arc was built toward, and it refuses to be a happy one: Sasuke's indifference, his casual lethal speed appearing behind the whole team at once, his blade at Naruto's back. The boy they crossed a hundred episodes to save has no interest in being saved.
