Inari's Courage Put to the Test

The Land of Waves calls in its debt. This standalone flashback returns to Inari, the boy from the series' first arc, as the bridge country's people face armed extortion once more — this time without Team 7 stationed on their shore. Inari, older and carrying Naruto's lesson about heroes who act instead of cry, organizes the villagers' stand himself. A filler episode in the strictest sense, but one that deliberately bookends Part 1's opening arc and shows the series' first saved generation passing the courage forward.
