How to use this guide

Start with Naruto (2002) and follow the arcs in order. The original series has more filler concentrated at the end (episodes 136–220 are almost entirely filler), so once you finish the Sasuke Recovery arc you can jump straight to Naruto Shippuden episode 1.

In Shippuden, the canon flows continuously through the major arcs. The biggest filler blocks are episodes 170–171, 223–242, and 394–413 — all safe to skip. Click any arc above to see its episode-by-episode breakdown.
